9月に入り、今年も残り4ヶ月ですね、、、
社内では忘年会の企画も練り始めました！
季節の変わり目でまた体調を崩しやすくなると思いますが、

Q1.仕事内容は？
A.営業部OSチームの営業として働いています。
主に海外代理店からの見積依頼に対応し、営業活動を行っています。
現地代理店とそのお客さんの間で案件が確定すると、ノットグローバルに連絡が入り、手配が始まります。
海上・AIRの輸出入など幅広く見積の依頼が来るので、
料金の確認は大変ですが、色々な仕事や貨物を取り扱えます。
代理店相手の見積になるので、海外でのフォワーダー同士の会議に営業目的で参加し、
ネットワークを広げることもあります。
Q2.入社を決めた理由は？
A.なんとなく英語を使えるような仕事をしたいと就職活動の時に漠然と考えており、
他のフォワーダーや専門商社などを受けていました。
その中の１つがノットグローバルです。
説明会や面接で会社に訪問した際に、社員の皆さんの雰囲気が明るく、
面接時も柔らかな雰囲気で進み、自分に合っていると感じたことが、大きな決め手でした。
また、面接でお話したマネージャーや代表に惹かれ、一緒に働きたいと思いました。

Q3.ノットグローバルホールディングスってどんな会社？
A.明るく、国際色豊かな会社だと思います。
社内にはさまざまな国出身の社員がいて、電話などで英語を使っている場面もよく見受けられます。
僕の場合は、メールなどで英語を多く使うので、社内的にも仕事的にも国際色豊かだと感じます。
英語が堪能な社員も多く、圧倒されることもしばしばあります。
オフィスも明るく、社内ではレイディオが流れているのでリラックスしながら仕事ができます。
おっと、すみません、ネイティブが出てしまいました、日本でいうところのラジオです。
また、社内の人と飲みに行く機会も多く、仕事面でもプライベートでもストレスなく過ごせています。
Q4.仕事でやりがいを感じる瞬間は？
A.案件が決まり、スムーズに手配が進んだ時や、
利益の高い案件を獲得できた時にやりがいを感じます。
また、手配中にイレギュラーな事態が起こっても、
臨機応変にできた時は達成感と同時に、自分の成長も実感できて2倍嬉しいです。
また、出張先で繋がった代理店との案件が確定したことや、
今まで決まっていなかった代理店との案件が確定した時もやりがいを感じます。
Q5. 今ハマっていることは？
A.ハマっているとも少し違うかもしれませんが、ジムと散歩によく行きます。
体を動かすと、その肉体的なストレスが精神的なストレスに勝るので、ストレス軽減になるようです。
ジムに来ている人は皆意識が高いと感じるので、自ずと自分の意識も上がるような気がして気分がいいです。
足の筋トレを避けがちなので、もっとやるようにしたいと思います。
今は暑いので散歩はあまりできていませんが、
秋になったら代々木あたりや目黒方面などのお洒落なスポットを、
コーヒーでも片手に優雅に肩で風を切って歩きたいです。
Q6.リフレッシュ方法は？
A. 意識しているわけではありませんが、とにかく寝ることです。
1人で家にいるとやることがなく、寝転ぶしかすることがないので、
その流れでいつの間にか寝てしまっています。
後になって無駄に時間を過ごしたと感じるときもありますが、やはり睡眠は最高です。
金曜は逆に思う存分夜更かしでき、寝たいときに寝て起きることができるので、素晴らしい時間だと思います。
回答としてはひねりのない0点の回答かもしれませんが、普段からもっと睡眠の質を意識したいと思います。
Q7.今後ノットグローバルホールディングスでチャレンジしたいこと！
A. AIRの知識をもっとつけていきたいです！（AIRだけじゃなく全般ですが、、、）
AIRは海上に比べたら案件数はまだ少ないので案件数を増やしながら知識を増やしていきたいです。
また、ありがたいことに現在2度タイへ出張に同行させていただいているので、
そこで繋がった代理店との関係性を今後も続けていきたいと思います。
今後も同行させていただくこともあるかと思うので、
そこで爪痕を残して会社の売り上げに貢献していきたいです。
いつか役職等を任せてもらえるくらいの勢いで色々なことを吸収していきたいと思います！

It’s about time to start talking about year-end parties.
We’ve also started planning our year-end party within the company!
I think it’s easy to get sick again when the seasons change, so please take care of yourself!

Q1. What’s your job?
A. I belong to the OS (OverSeas) team in the sales department.
I mainly respond to requests from overseas quotes and conduct sales activities.
Once the case is confirmed between the local agent and the customer,
Knot Global will receive notification of the arrangements and begin handling them.
I receive a wide range of requests for estimates, including sea and air imports and exports,
so it’s difficult to confirm prices, but I can handle various types of work and cargo.
I also provide quotes for agencies and participate in meetings
with overseas forwarders for sales purposes to expand our network.
Q2. Why did you choose Knot Global HD?
A. During my job search, I had a vague idea that I wanted to do a job where I could use English,
so I applied to other forwarders and specialized trading companies.
One of them is Knot Global. In addition,
when I visited the company for an information session
and job interview, I felt that the employees had a cheerful atmosphere,
and the job interview proceeded in a relaxed manner,
which made me feel that it was a good fit for me.
This was a major factor in my decision to join the company.
I was impressed by the manager and CEO spoke with during the interview,
and I wanted to work with them.
Q3. What’s Knot Global HD like?
A. I think it’s a cheerful and international company.
Colleagues are from various countries within the company,
and it’s common to see them using English on the phone and in other situations.
In my case, I use English a lot in e-mails and other communications,
so I feel that I’m internationally rich both within the company and in my work.
Many colleagues are fluent in English, and I’m often overwhelmed.
The office is bright, and with radio playing throughout the company,
you can work while feeling relaxed.
Oh, sorry, that slipped out-it’s what we call RAJIO in Japanese.
I also have many opportunities to go out for drinks with colleagues,
and I’m able to enjoy both my work and personal life without stress.
Q4. What kind of moments do you feel the worth for work?
A. I feel a sense of fulfillment when a job is secured
and arrangements proceed smoothly, or when I land a high profit.
Also, when something unexpected happens during the arrangements
and I manage to handle it flexibly, I’m not only feel a sense of accomplishment
but also feel twice as happy because I can sense my own growth.
Q5. What are you into these days?
A. I wouldn’t exactly say I’m hooked, but I go to the gym and take a walk.
Exercising seems to reduce stress because physical exertion overcomes mental stress.
Everyone at the gym seems so motivated,
I feel like my own awareness naturally rises, and it makes me feel good.
I tend to avoid leg strength training, so I want to try to do more of it.
It's too hot for walks right now, but come autumn,
I'd love to stroll elegantly through chic spots like Yoyogi or Meguro, a coffee in hand,
feeling the breeze on my shoulders.
Q6. What do you do for your refreshment?
A. I don't consciously think about it, but sleeping is simply my way to refresh myself.
When I'm home alone, I’ve nothing to do except lie around,
so I end up falling asleep before I know it.
Sometimes I feel like I've wasted time later but sleep really is the best.
On the other hand, Friday is wonderful because I can stay up late as I want and sleep
whenever I feel like it. This might be a straightforward zero-point answer,
but I want to be more mindful of my sleep quality going forward.
Q7. Is there something that you would like to challenge at Knot Global HD in the future?
A. I want to learn more about air! (Not just air, but in general…)
Compared to Sea jobs, air still has fewer projects,
so I want to increase the number of jobs while expanding my knowledge.
Furthermore, I’m grateful to have accompanied business trips to Thailand twice now,
and I hope to continue the relationships formed with the agencies I connected with there.
I expect I'll be accompanying you on future occasions as well,
and I want to make my mark and contribute to the company's sales.
I want to absorb as much as possible with the momentum
to one day be entrusted with a position of responsibility!

As you can see from the comments, he also has a side that occasionally speaks with a touch of humor lol
Despite that, at work he is cautious, relying on seniors, bosses, and colleagues while tackling tasks,
and gives the impression of valuing interactions with others!
He has been actively utilizing his English skills and communication abilities since his second year,
traveling on business trips as a sales representative!
Every time I see them thriving, it inspires me as a peer to push myself harder!
