昨年に引き続き今年も新入社員向けに横浜港の見学をしに行きました！
【当日のスケジュール】
午前：税関検査のためのデバン作業の立ち合いを見学、
午後：横浜港のターミナル見学

ターミナル見学では山下埠頭、大黒埠頭、本牧埠頭、APMターミナル(南本牧)
4つのターミナルを回りました！
▷港には空港と同じように船会社や取り扱う貨物によってターミナルが分かれています
横浜支店の小島さんに海上輸送の豆知識を伺いながら
実際にコンテナが輸送されている瞬間や
船に積み込まれている瞬間をみることができました！
At Yokohama port, we visited 4 terminals, such as Yamashita, Diakoku, Honmoku, APM Terminal (Minami-Honmoku)
▷As the Airport, the terminals in Yokohama divided depends on carrier and cargo.
While Mr. Kojima from Yokohama branch told us the knowledge about the marine shipping, we were able to see containers actually transferring by truck and loading on the vessel.
他にも着港中のRORO船(Roll on/Roll off Ship)という船も見ることができました！
RORO船はコンテナ船のようにコンテナに貨物を積み込むのではなく車やトラックをそのまま動かして船内に積み込むことができる船です。
船内は大きな駐車場になっているようで積み込む予定の本船の前に綺麗に並ぶ新車に驚きました！
Also, we were able to see RORO ship!
RORO(Roll on/Roll off) ships are cargo ships that are driven on and off the ship on their own wheels, instead of using a container. We were surprised by Vehicles which would be on the board, made certain lines in from of the vessel.
沢山のコンテナをこんなに間近で見るとワクワクしますね！
It is a good experience to see a lot of containers at the same time closely like below photo!
シャーシと呼ばれるトラックの荷台の骨組み部分が立てかけてあるシャーシ置き場も見ることができました。
There was also a chassis storage area where the chassis, the frame of the truck bed, have leaned against vertically.
こちらは通常のドライコンテナだけでなく
冷蔵機能付きのリーファコンテナと呼ばれるコンテナです！
We were able to see the container with refrigeration function called “reefer container”!
こちらは通常のドライコンテナに入らない
上部、左右が開いているフラットラックラックコンテナも見ることができました！
This is he container which is the top, left and right are opened called “flat rack container”!
4月入社の新入社員も今まで資料やＰＣの画面上でしか知識を得ることができておりませんでしたが、
自分の目で現場を見ることで現場をイメージしながら手配業務を進められるようになります！
Until this day, new graduates could acquire knowledge from only materials and PC screens, but by seeing the site with their own eyes, they can proceed with arrangement work while imagining the actual site.
他のフォワーダーでは現場を一度も見ずに手配業務をすることもあるので、
今回のようなターミナルツアーをできることは
現場と密にコミュニケーションをとっている弊社にしかできない強みだと感じています。
Other forwarders may make arrangements without even looking at the site, so I think that being able to do a terminal tour like this is a strength that our company, which has close communication with the site.
